We are excited to announce that Vaccine Ambassadors has been chosen as a recipient of the 2020 Spring UNC Rho Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega’s Philanthropy Grant for our work to protect children and families from vaccine preventable diseases.
Typically, we would have the opportunity to accept this grant in person, but because of the risks posed by the pandemic we are accepting this award virtually.
We expect there to be great needs in Latin America and the Caribbean as COVID-19 circulates in areas where healthcare capacity is limited. Being able to optimize health through vaccination has never been more important. This generous grant will help us to continue to prevent the diseases that we can, as we eagerly await the development of a vaccine against COVID-19.
